The Verotel Basic account is perfect for new online businesses or for those that have limited feature requirements. If you are selling subscriptions online and are looking for an easy way to charge your members on a recurring basis, the Basic Account is for you!

The Basic Account includes a turn-key subscription management system and Verotel's affiliate marketing system. We provide free technical setup of your account - you supply the website and the content. The Basic Account carries an annual registration fee of EUR 500.00* for Visa/MC registration and compliance monitoring. Verotel charges a fixed 15.5% of each transaction. For all other charges, please refer to the price chart below.

All accounts have a 10% 6-month rolling reserve.

Verotel Premium

Verotel Premium offers all the features of a Basic account with the main benefit of lower processing rates for established or high volume merchants.

In addition, the Verotel Premium account supports FlexPay giving you the ability to process unique transaction amounts depending on your needs or the type of content provided. A Verotel Premium Account also supports Multi-Currency processing. If you offer your content to a specific geographic market, you can set your pricing in a local currency.

Applications for Premium accounts are only available for established or high volume merchants. A minimum weekly gross processing volume of EUR 100 is required. If the weekly volume is less than EUR 1.000, a EUR 25 weekly fee applies. All accounts have a 10% 6-month rolling reserve.

Verotel allows your European customers to pay by Direct Debit - one of Europe's most popular and trusted payment methods.

Your customer uses their existing online banking details, a convenient and secure way to process direct debits in Europe.

The payment is instantly direct debited from the customer's bank account.

Direct Debit Europe is currently available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Slovakia.

Chargeback ratio

The chargeback ratio is the number of charge backs issued in a period of four weeks divided by the total number of transactions in that same period. Verotel merchants do no pay for chargeback fees, although the base processing rate will be affected and adjusted depending on your chargeback percentage.

If the number of transactions in the last four weeks, with a two-week lag period, exceeds 50 transactions, then the chargeback ratio will be calculated. If this ratio is 1.0% or more, a surcharge of 2.5% will apply to the base rate.

Our International support and account management team accurately tracks all transactions and will contact merchants if chargeback ratios are trending too high.

A surcharge of 1.5% applies on all recurring transactions. (This does not apply to the first transaction of a recurring billing subscription).

Traditionally, online entertainment is billed on a subscription basis. Verotel offers a Remote User Manager tool for adding, modifying and deleting subscribers instantly. Direct integration is also possible with FlexPay. Flexpay allows Verotel merchants to send any amount and any description directly to Verotel's order pages. Verotel FlexPay is the perfect solution for cam sites and other token-based systems to sell pre-paid credit.

To increase sales, more traffic is key. Verotel OpenAffiliate is a simple way of generating more traffic and increasing revenue by having other websites advertise your services or content. Verotel's Affiliate system is used by tens of thousands affiliates/resellers around the world.

Security Policy

Customers that purchase content through Verotel's webmasters and merchants can be assured that their information is handled in a completely confidential manner.

Storage of transactions and credit card data

All data on Verotel's premises are stored and protected by state-of-the-art security systems. Our network facilities are monitored 24 hours, 7 days per week, for any downtime, intrusion or attack. All network facilities are physically protected by biometric access control systems. Verotel is fully compliant with the MasterCard Site Data Protection program and VISA Account Information Security program.

Filling in your credit card information

All transactions are only accepted on pages encrypted with SSL technology. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) makes it possible to encrypt all data on the browser side, and to decrypt the information when it reaches Verotel's servers. This way no one on the Internet can read the data (including your credit card information) completely protecting your privacy.

New transactions

All new transactions are fully screened by the Verotel Veronica anti-fraud system. Verotel Veronica verifies and cross-references the information supplied to Verotel. It combines information and checks this with data from more than 200 sources. Because of this intensive anti-fraud verification system, costs of fraudulent transactions and chargebacks are substantially reduced.

At Verotel, we are committed to protect the privacy of both merchants and cardholders. We use the information we collect about cardholders and payment information to process transactions only. Private account and address information is necessary to verify that you are the person making the purchase and to thwart potential fraud. All information gathered in the course of a transaction is transmitted securely and is protected by our database throughout the transaction process.

WE WILL NEVER PROVIDE YOUR INFORMATION TO ANOTHER PARTY AND WE WILL NEVER SOLICIT YOU.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you order as a cardholder, we need to know your name, e-mail address, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, credit card, debit card, or checking account number, CVC code and expiration date. Sometimes we require your mailing address as well. This information allows us to safely process your transaction. We log the IP address for address verification and risk management purposes.

WE ONLY USE THE INFORMATION TO PROCESS, CONFIRM AND NOTIFY YOU OF THE SPECIFIC TRANSACTION YOU ARE MAKING.

How does Verotel protect customer information?

When you place orders or access your account information, we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

What about "cookies"?

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to provide features such as linking and reselling. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that.

Will anything be sent to my email address?

Only your subscription details will be sent to your email address. We will not use your email address for anything else!

Do you share my membership details?

Your details will only be available to the owner of the website where you did a transaction. They will not be shared with other companies or used for other purposes. Your membership details will be stored on our secured servers.

My transaction was DECLINED, what should I do?

If your credit card transaction was DECLINED, please try the following:

Did you fill out all of the fields on the order form?

Did you enter the correct expiration date?

Did you remove any spaces or dashes in your credit card number or phone number?

Did you enter your full and complete email address?

Are you currently in the country where your credit card was issued?

Do you have sufficient funds on your credit card or bank account?

If all your answers are YES on above questions, please submit an inquiry

Due to security reasons and to prevent duplicate transactions you are only able to attempt a transaction once every 10 minutes. Therefore, please wait at least 10 minutes before submitting your information again.

What can I do if something goes wrong during my membership?

Partial refunds option

An option to perform partial refunds was added to Control Center. You can specify an amount to refund on the refund dialog in transaction detail page. If the sale is a subscription you can also decide whether to terminate it or leave it active.

The partial refund option is NOT available for sales where an affiliate is involved, in cases NATS integration is enabled and when the merchant’s account is setup with security charge rate plan.
